The floating sensor platform is coming along. The purpose of this is to start working with the underwater camera system while the boat is being built. It could also be useful as its own sensor for field missions where deploying a robot is not practical. The goal is to have a “smart sensor” that does on-board image processing and returns semantic information instead of or in addition to the actual images.
Currently the platform is drying since I used Amazing Goop marine sealant.
